Etude House 3 Minutes Care Pack In Shower Review
Etude House released a new 3 Minute Care Masks series in October this year which includes this gel mask and various types of sheet masks. They came up with a turmeric sheet mask and a black soybean sheet mask which I've never really seen from other brands before. The 3 Minute Care Masks series is meant to simplify skincare routines for those who want to take care of their skin but want to skip going through complicated steps.

I personally prefer to use wash off masks so I decided to get this gel mask.
About The 3 Minute Care Pack In Shower
The 3 Minute Care Pack In Shower is a quick treatment that absorbs quickly. It claims to provide moisture to the skin while taking a shower. It contains real calendula petals and turmeric extract that helps to soothe and nourish the skin for brighter, hydrated and healthy skin. If I remember correctly, this mask was SGD$15-$16 ish.
When I first saw this series, I was sceptical because I was thinking how much difference could it make and how effective could it really be. Personally, I don't really understand the concept of using a mask in the shower, like it might all be washed off before it even does anything.
I visualize people who might use this are those who have a bathtub and they decide to take a bath, so they can just leave this on their face. Sadly, I don't have a bathtub, so I can't try that out.

It is a clear gel with a slight yellow tint. I don't know why I expected it to be more yellow lol. It has a floral scent and I don't really smell the turmeric in it.
Anyways, I tried using this mask in two ways. The first was how it was meant to be used, which is in the shower, and the second was just using it as a normal mask without the shower process.
The recommended method is to apply it before you enter the shower and wash it off when you're done. Honestly, the entire time, I was scared of accidentally washing it off, especially at the start because I didn't want it to go to waste. By the time I wanted to wash it off, it was already washed off my face. The other method I tried was without the shower process. I like to leave the mask on for longer than 10 minutes while I do my work.
Did it make any difference?
I did not really see any difference from using it when I shower and just as a normal wash off mask. Of course, if you are in a rush, it could make a difference to you.
My skin is alright from using it, which is great.
But I wouldn't necessarily see myself buying a new bottle once I'm done with it. I'd rather spend the money on other products or like food lol.

Overall:
My skin does feel moisturized from using this mask but I don't really feel blown away by this product. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad mask but to me, it is just an alright product. Nothing really special about it. I feel like a wash off mask that provides greater hydration and soothing effects for my skin is the Innisfree Black Green Tea mask although that mask is defintely pricier. My skin is alright from using it, which is great.
