Stylekorean x Rovetin Cica Care Review

I recently joined a StyleKorean Try Me, Review Me event and I was selected so here's my review on the Rovectin Cica Care Purifying Toner, Cica Care Sleeping Pack and Anti-Irritant Barrier Repair Cream. Yes, I did receive these for review purposes, but all opinions stated are honestly mine.

Rovectin Cica Care Purifying Toner

The Cica Care Purifying Toner is a gentle toner that refines and soothes irritated skin with madecassoside and panthenol.

Madecassoside helps to regenerate skin cells to make the skin look more supple, glowy and healthy. It also helps to soothe and calm the skin, which is actually one of the reasons Cica is such a popular ingredient. Formulated with Ceramide and Panthenol, this toner helps to strengthen the barrier of the damaged skin. It is also said to have whitening and anti-ageing effects.

It has been tested for skin irritation and it is free from paraben, fragrance, colourants and mineral oil.

This is a 260ml bottle and the toner comes in a clear plastic packaging. It has a herbal-ish scent that kind of reminds me of tea-tree although it does not contain tea tree in it. It's a colourless toner and it absorbs quickly on the skin for me. I like it because it is hydrating and really gentle on the skin.

Rovectin Cica Care Sleeping Pack

The Cica Care Sleeping Pack is a highly refined sleeping mask that restores troubled skin with Centella Asiatica and Rovectin's Barrier Repair Complex overnight. Just like the purifying toner, it does not contain paraben, fragrance, colourants and mineral oil.

It is a translucent cream and it also absorbs quickly upon application and it is non-sticky. However, I do realize I wake up to oily skin the next morning when I apply it at night. The smell reminds me a bit of the iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Toner, where there's this very subtle sweet scent. My skin feels really soothed at night when I use this.

But, there was this one night I decided to use just this sleeping pack alone, and I did have a few new pimples popping out the next day. The other two products have been working out well for me, so I'm not really sure what caused me to break out.

Rovectin Anti-Irritant Barrier Repair Ultra Cream

The Rovectin Anti-Irritant Skin Barrier Cream is specially formulated to improve the skin's tolerance to dry, sensitive and irritated skin conditions. It contains a Rovectin Skin Barrier Repair Complex which replenishes the diminished essential barrier lipids with naturally derived plant extracts. It has brightening, anti-ageing and healing properties.

The Anti-Irritant Skin Barrier cream is an opaque white with a slight peach tint cream that spreads easily and it has no scent. It provides immediate and lasting hydration with a cooling effect. I feel that it is suitable for daytime use because it doesn't give a white cast at all. But, I have not actually tried to use this below makeup mainly because I do not really wear makeup during the week.

Overall
I think the products work quite well. They were all quite hydrating and I personally like the Cica Purifying Toner the most out of the three. But,  I just feel that compared to a lot of other products I've used before, the ingredient list is not really the best for all three products. I did have a few pimples popping out from using the sleeping pack.

Anyways, here's my review on some of the Rovectin products available on Stylekorean.com. It took roughly a week or less for the products to arrive As I said, these were sent to me for review purposes, but all opinions stated are honestly mine. They don't give out any requirements and formats about what we post, which I really appreciate.

That's all for today's post and I hope it was useful for you.

Thank you for reading and until the next post :-)
