Petitfée Premium Gold & EGF Eye Patch Review
The gold is supposed to keep the skin refreshed while giving a healthy skin tone. Additionally, the EGF ingredient, where EGF means Epidermal Growth Factor, is supposed to make the skin firm. EGF is used to reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. On the box this product claims to "offer your parched skin an intensely hydrating infusion of moisture plus vital nutrients and experience urge dramatic firming an cooling results you thought only a professional spa could deliver." Wow, that was a mouthful.
In Singapore, SASA is selling this product for $24, alongside the other types of Petitfée hydrogel eyepatches. But I got this together with my other Eopenmarket items and at that time it was selling for about USD$6.91 which is SGD$9.32, which is quite a huge comparison price.
This product comes with 60 eye patches, with 30 for each side.A spatula is provided which makes it easy and hygienic to scoop out the product. The product is sealed tightly when brand new and it comes in this simple gold and white design. For me, the patches for both sides were slightly messed up together but it was still easy to scoop out either sides. You're suppose to apply this after toning for roughly 20-30 minutes.

It is shaped differently from the "Eye and Spot patch" version, where this one is more curved. It was quite easy to place it below my eye, but initially I may have placed it too close to the point where I could feel it whenever I blinked. But when I was facing the mirror, it wasn't that close, but I just lowered it either ways.
I had a slight burning sensation and I realised it was because of the fact that there was ginseng extract and if you read my purito review, I don't do well with ginseng.
After I tried it out, my eyes didn't feel tired as it was before. I really like the cooling sensation this has, but I only didn't like how strong the scent was. It felt quite hydrating and the skin area around my eye did feel firmer.
I do think that this product may not be suitable for sensitive skin due to the fragrance and this product does contain alcohol (alcohol and phenoxyethanol), diols (Ethyl Hexanediol, 2-Hexanediol) and paraben (methylparaben). Seeing the ingredients was definitely a downer because of the ingredients that they use although they try to promote the other ingredients like Gold and EGF. So if you're someone contemplating whether to get this, seeing the ingredient list may give you second thoughts especially if you're about to spend $24 in Sasa. Personally, I would not repurchase this.
That's it for my review and till the next post.
Stay tuned.
