November Favourites (Skincare, Makeup and K-Dramas) | Take My Money
November went by pretty slow for me this time due to A levels. But despite having to sadly go through examinations for over a month, I decided to look at the brightside of life and found my favourites for this month.
Starting with K-beauty skincare:
1. Innisfree Blueberry rebalancing Cleansing Water
This cleansing water is my favourite cleansing water this month. It's my go-to cleansing water in the morning and when I reach home. I think that it's very gentle on the skin and my skin always feels refreshed after using it. It is basically a micellar water with blueberry extracts. It is pH5.5, which helps to keep your skin at the right pH value for healthy skin.
2. Neogen Blueberry Real Fresh Foam Cleanser
I got this facial cleanser mid November, but I have to say that I've been really liking it. It's really gentle on the skin and it doesn't feel like my face has been stripped away of its moisture. Also, I don't know why but it just so happens that two of the items on my favourites have to do with blueberries.
3. Etude House Soon Jung pH 5.5 Toner
This toner is also my go-to favourite for this month. Similarly, it has ph 5.5, which is good after you've washed your face as washing your face may increase your skin's pH levels. It is very gentle as well and the Soon Jung line is good for those who have sensitive skin. I'm so sad that I'm already 1/4 done with the bottle but I may get this again once I have finished it.
Favourite Non K-Beauty Skincare and Makeup:
1. Milani Baked Blusher and Milani Baked Eyeshadow
In my November Beauty Haul Part 2, I mentioned that I bought Milani baked blushes and the baked eyeshadow. I love the shades that I got. The baked blushes I have are in the shade Dolce Pink and Rose D' Oro, while the baked eyeshadow that I have is in Bella Champagne.
I love to use the Baked Eyeshadow as a highlighter because the color is so pretty. I like to use the Dolce Pink and Rose D Oro together, where I apply the Dolce Pink more towards the centre of my face and the Rose D Oro more towards the sides of my face.
2. Crabtree and Evelyn Pear And Pink Magnolia Body Wash
My mum is a hardcore fan of Crabtree and Evelyn products and every year when it's almost christmas, she starts buying all the christmas packages they have. Recently, one of the christmas packages that she got is the "Pear and Pink Magnolia Trio Plus", which consists of the body wash, a body lotion, a hand cream, a towel and a handbag. This package costs $93. Another package where you can just get the lotion and body wash together is the "Pear and Pink Magnolia Duo" for $55, where both bottles are 250ml.
I really like the scent of this "Pear and Pink Magnolia Series". The body wash smells really light and fruity. It's a refreshing scent that lasts for long time.

My favourite k-beauty makeup products this month are:
1. Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil
I'ved tried a bunch of eyebrow pencils from various brands and so far I really like the Etude House Drawing Pencil. It's easy to apply and it's quite long lasting for me during school, plus it does not smudge easily. The shade that I currently have is #5 Grey. It comes with a spoolie that's gentle to use and blends the product easily. This eyebrow pencil is quite affordable as it costs SGD$5.90 if i remember correctly.
2.Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder
The Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder is a sebum control powder. It's made with Jeju natural minerals and mint for a refreshing control of oil and moisture. I like this powder because I think it's effective and it lasts quite long. I usually apply this when I use sunscreen because I don't like the oily look that most sunscreens usually give. The bottle is 5g and contains substantial amount of product to last at least a few months. It retails for SGD$10.
3. Skinfood Mineral Sugar Blend Eyes
I've been using the Skinfood Mineral Sugar Blend Eyes palette more frequently this month. All the shades in this palette are matte. I like to use the three brown shades for my eyebrows after I used the Etude House Drawing Pencil just to fill in my brows a little bit more. Retail price for one palette is roughly $22+ if I remember correctly. The pigmentation for the lighter colors are not as good, but its fine with me since I'm using mostly the brown shades. If you're looking for better pigmentation, you can always try applying a primer before using the eyeshadows. This palette is great for those looking for more earthy, natural matte eyeshadow shades. It's also a small palette that is compact and easy to bring around.
Favourite K-drama this month:
Basically, I really like a lot of the K-dramas this month.
1. Because This Is My First Life (16 Episodes)
"Because This Is My First Life" is a story between Nam Se Hee (Lee Min Ki) and Yoon Ji-Ho (Jung So Min). Nam Se Hee is a single man with no plans to get married. He owns a house but has decided to spend his life paying back the mortgage and taking care of his pet cat.Yoon Ji Ho on the other hand, is an aspiring writer who wants to own her own home, but is unable to do so due to financial struggles.
I really love the love story between this two and I always find myself giggling and screaming whenever Se Hee does something really sweet because it's totally unexpected. I think that Lee Min Ki played a really good role in this show. There are really funny and surprising scenes, but also a lot of sad and reflective scenes that come along in every episode. For me, this is my top favourite k-drama this month.

2.Mad Dog (16 Episodes)
Mad Dog is about a team that reveals insurance fraud cases, which began after the death of Choi Kang Woo's family from a suspicious plane crash.Choi Kang Woo (Yoo Ji Tae) was formerly a detective and a veteran insurance investigator, but after the death of his family, he started "Mad Dog" .Kim Min Joon (Woo Do-Hwan) is the brother of the pilot who had allegedly crashed the plane on purpose and tries to reveal his brother's innocence.I also like this show because of the slight romance between Kim Min Joon and Jang Ha Ri (Ryu Hwa Young).
3. Witch's Court (16 Episodes)
Ma Yi Deum (Jung Ryeo Won) is a prosecutor who uses drastic measures to win cases. One day she is transferred to CAGU,a department dealing only with sex crimes, after revealing her boss's sexual harassments. Ma Yi Deum has been trying to find her lost mother. Yeo Jin Wook (Yoon Hyun-Min) is a new prosecutor who previously worked as a psychiatrist like his mother. Together, they find out the Jin Wook's mother was the doctor who took care of Yi Deum's missing mother, and they work to reveal the real perpetrator - Cho Gap Soo (Jeon Kwang Leol).

4.Go Back Couple (12 Episodes)
Choi Ban Do (Son Ho Jun) and Ma Jin Joo (Jang Na Ra) are a married couple, but divorce each other as they now hate each other. They travel back in time to back when they were 20-year old university students, where they met for the first time. They try to change their future, where both attempt to pursue their first love instead of each other. All I can say is, the second lead syndrome for this show is really strong.
5.While You Were Sleeping (32 Episodes)
Nam Hong Joo (Bae Suzy) is able to dream about the events and deaths that are about to take place. Jung Jae Chan( Lee Jong Suk) is a rookie prosecutor, but just like Hong Joo, he is able to dream about the events that take place, especially if it involves Hong Joo. One day Jae Chan and his brother moves in opposite Hong Joo's place and they become new neighbours. They find out that Hong Joo had saved Jae Chan when they were young.
I find that this show was really funny, but also interesting because of all the climatic surprises. The only thing I was questioning was how fast the love story between Hong Joo and Jae Chan escalated.

That's all for today's post and till the next one :-).
