Haru Haru Wonder Review | StyleKorean TMRM Event
*starts playing Big Bang's Haru Haru in my head* Am I the only one who does this when I see the brand Haru Haru Wonder?
I was selected for the Stylekorean event, so today, I'll be sharing my thoughts on Haru Haru Wonder.
About the Brand
Haru Haru has received quite the buzz in the beauty community. In 2019, they received the Reddot Winner for their packaging which visualises their star ingredient of the wonder line: Black rice. Apart from their highly pleasing and minimal aesthetics, their wonder line promises 95% naturally derived ingredients and fermented raw materials.
Black Rice Soft Peeling Gel
A gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin cells.
Fermented black rice is an ingredient packed with polyphenols and flavonoids, which protects the skin against free radicals and promote skin cell regeneration. Once out of the bottle, the translucent gel looks reminiscent of rice porridge.
I love using this at least twice a week. As it takes about 5 minutes for the gel to settle onto the skin, I'll usually do this whenever I'm doing work. In fact, I'm using this gel as I write this post. It's extremely gentle to the skin and once washed off, my skin instantly feels smoother and looks visibly brighter.
Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner
Formulated with fermented black rice and hyaluronic acid, this toner provides deep hydration to the skin and nourishes tired skin. It's gentle, lightweight and hydrating, making it perfect for the 7-layer method. I'd recommend it for people with combination and dry skin. This has a subtle fragrance, which disappears after a while.
With 300ml in each bottle, this toner is definitely worth the price. (They do offer a 150ml bottle in case you're interested).
Black Rice Facial Oil
A lightweight facial oil that helps the skin achieve a healthy glow. This oil contains sweet almond oil to smooth fine lines, sunflower seed oil for anti-inflammation and lavender oil to brighten and reduce wrinkles.
I'm not usually a fan of facial oils because I'm scared they'll clog my pores. However, my fears were allayed after trying it out. This facial oil is lightweight and comfortable on the skin. It does not feel clogging at all. However, it does leave a slightly tacky feeling so I'd only recommend using it at night.

Overall:
I understand the hype around Haru Haru Wonder as their products are great for everyday use. My personal favourite is the peeling gel. It's worth the price as a little goes a long way and it gives me instant results.
That's all for today's review. If you're interested in trying Haru Haru, do check them out on Stylekorean!
