The Spot Treatment You Need: Cosrx Blemish Centella Cream Review
The CosRX Centella Blemish Cream is one of the first Centella products I ever used. Honestly, this cream made me believe in the benefits of Centella Asiatica.
I don't think I need to introduce Cosrx, considering it's a famous Korean beauty brand even in the international community. From what I've seen, they are quite popular a lot for their products, such as the acne patches, snail essence and cleansers (sidenote, their morning cleanser didn't work for me). But, if I had to recommend a product from Cosrx, I would say it's this.

On the CosRX website, it claims that the Centella Blemish Cream is a fast-acting spot treatment cream. This cream is usually applied to blemished and trouble areas. Enriched with Centella Asiatica, this cream helps with soothing irritated skin.

Notable ingredients are the Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, Centella Asiatica Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil and Zinc Oxide.
Centella Asiatica is beneficial for the skin as it is effective in treating wounds, which is excellent for irritated skin. Plus, it has effective anti-ageing properties as it is rich in antioxidants and abundant source of amino acids.
Although this cream does not claim to be a sunscreen, it does contain zinc oxide, which provides UV protection. It can be used as a day cream and at the same time, it will prevent acne scars from getting darker.

Thoughts:
Scent:
The first time I used this cream, the smell reminded me of Zambuk, which is a medicated ointment I remember using when I was a child. For those who don't know what Zambuk is, it has a herbal scent and it's an antiseptic ointment that's really satisfying to apply on mosquito bites.
Application:
I did get a few questions about where I usually apply this. For me, I often use it on blemish areas, like my forehead, my chin and acne scars. Depending on how much I put, sometimes the product doesn't absorb that fast. This cream is for blemishes, but there are days when I will add it to my whole face just cause I like applying it lol.
It is a thick cream, that feels slightly heavy upon application. You'll be glad to know that it does not feel sticky or oily.
This does have a slight white cast, possibly due to the zinc oxide. If you don't mind the white cast, then you can use it during the day when you're going out. The white cast is not like super obvious though. Sometimes I do use it in the morning before I put on my makeup.

Overall:
I loved this cream when I started using it two years ago. Fast forward to two years later and I still love it.
Apart from that first impression, this cream showed me numerous times how it works wonders. One night after work, my cheek area turned red because I was picking at my pimples. I was worried the redness would stay cause I had work the next day. But, after applying this cream, my worries were allayed and the redness was gone.
I wish this came with an applicator because I get terrified of contaminating the cream. Or perhaps, they can put this product in one of those squeezy tube bottles instead. For instance, I've been using a Sebiaclear cream from SVR Laboratoire Dermatologique that I love because of the packaging, mainly because it's super easy to apply on specific spots.
It looks like it's tiny, but trust me; this will go a long way. Plus, I've been using this twice a day for the past week, and it still looks full LOL.
Alternatively, you can order them online. This cream is available on Lazada or Shopee.
Thanks for reading and that's it for today's post. Hope this was useful~
