Skin&Lab Dr Color Effect:Red Serum Review
I'm just going to say it upfront, I love this serum.
I have tried several serums so far and I've been really liking this serum. I've been looking for a serum that would help brighten my complexion and I happened to find this serum. It has worked delightfully well for me and so let's get started with my review.

The Red Serum from Skin&Lab is supposed to protect the skin, while revitalising and whitening the skin.It also claims to have anti-wrinkle properties.
The reason why it's called the Red Serum is because its main ingredients are mostly red extracts. The main ingredients used are pomegranate, raspberry, lycium, acaiberry, blueberry and cloud berry.
These ingredients have different benefits to improve the skin like moisturising, vitalising, brightening and protection against oxidation. This product also contains Niacinamide and Adenosine, which are active ingredients for whitening and wrinkle improvement. All of the ingredients itself are quite okay and safe except for some like Caprylyl Glycol which is harmful for acne and Carbomer which is an irritant.

Based on the CosDNA website, many of these ingredients are relatively safe.
This product is 40ml and it comes with a dropper like most serums. I like the packaging a lot because it's a really simple red design. The dropper is also easy to control, but bane about using droppers is that it may get difficult to get the last bit of product at the end when you're finishing.
The texture is quite watery and it doesn't leave an oily feeling.
On the box, it states that the recommended usage is 3-4 drops in the morning and at night. I would usually apply this after I've applied my toners and my skin usually absorbs this pretty quickly. It's usually an essential step for me even if I am lazy to complete a full 10 step skincare routine.
There is a sweet scent to it, it smells kind of floral and a bit like baby powder combined. But I did check the ingredients, there is no added fragrance but the fragrance itself may come from the Jasminum Officinale Oil ingredient. It's a very subtle and calming scent, which is nothing overly-offensive hence I'm fine with it.

But I really like that this product has helped to whiten my skin which was the main purpose I purchased it.I have noticed the difference gradually over a few weeks and my skin usually appears brighter in the morning.
It was a little bit more on a pricey side and costs more than the Dear,Klairs freshly juiced vitamin C serum. I will definitely be trying the Klairs serum next and I willl be comparing between the two products.
That's it for today's post and I hope it was useful.
Till the next post.
